These are not two hands

2014. Video art. 6.30 minutes

These are not two hands is an narrative experiment to explore a vertical understanding of time, using the concept Durée develop by the french philosopher Henri Bergson: The «I» lives in the present with the memory of the past and the anticipation of the future, and they only exist in the consciousness that joins them.

In this work the verticality of time is reveal through the invisible layers hidden in a simple act: two hands folding a plastic bag.
