These Are Not Two Hands is a narrative experiment that explores a vertical understanding of time through Henri Bergson’s concept of durée.

The work reveals the multiple layers of time embedded in a simple gesture: two hands folding a plastic bag. Through this everyday act, inherited gestures, memories and family traumas surface in the present, turning the body into a living archive where different generations and temporalities coexist.
